I have to agree with Tom. About a month ago I brought back to life a
Town Car I had lying around for two years. It wouldn't start, but when
I pulled a spark plug it had spark. I sprayed ether (starter fluid) and
it started right up for about 10 seconds per spray. After I replaced
the fuel pump it started by itself on fuel. So I agree with Tom, it's
still ignition related.
