Rich..? NY State exempts vehicles made prior to 1996 from the emissions testing.? I have just regular plates on my Delorean and have Haggerties collector Insurance.? I think the historical plates are more expensive than regular plates.

Does anyone happen to know if emissions testing is part of the NY State inspection for cars that are 25 years old and older? Is age the only factor, or are historical plates required in order to bypass emissions testing in NY?
