OK.......I went to the auction today to have a look at this $50K DeLorean, with an additional 10% buyers premium. I hope the buyer isn't on this list.
 
The tires are Original...not "new". The front fenders have ripples along the top next to the hood. The hood looks like it had been re-textured by a drunk with a belt sander and one of the worst X patterns I've seen. The T panel has a bend at the point that the T crosses caused by the louvers hitting it when opened. Louvers are chipped along the top edge. Doors don't line up correctly. Facias have been repainted, not well. There are other things but you get the idea.
 
IF this car is worth a total of $55K then mine will be underpriced when I sell it for $80K.

For an "unrestored" car, it looks mighty fine. Maybe it came with "the flux capacitor option" and was just built last week... in 1981.? ;-)
