I had to change the "0bd" to "8bd" to get mine to work. What's the significance of that?

Was poking around a few used car sites and found a site that will let you
get an AutoCheck (like a CarFax) report for free. 

Simply enter the following URL, replacing the VIN you want to look up at the
end:
