I haven't measured the drain on my battery in some time. But, I don't remember it being as high as .05 amps (armed I think it is less than .02).
My battery is an Optima red top battery. 34/78 group. It is about 3 or 4 years old right now. For storage I have a 1000amp switch I installed.
