Group, A few years ago I had a leak in my AC which was repaired, then had the system refilled with R134. The oil was changed, new fittings installed, and system vacuumed for over an hour. The thing is, I have to refill every year to two because the hoses leach 134 over time. I am considering going back to R12. Has anyone done this after switching once? Any dangers or tips? My system always holds good vacuum, I think its just the smaller 134 molecules leak through the long hoses.
