Go over to DMCNEWS.COM and register on the DoD. Inquire with the nearest Delorean service center and ask if they have ever seen your car, use the vin # as they may have serviced it under previous owners. You can also do a search at Motor Vehicle in your State for all of the previous owners. One of the first things you should consider is replacing ALL fluids unless you can confirm it was done recently. A good investment would be to get the car to a shop knowledgable in Deloreans, they can make sure the car is safe and help you create a schedule and budget for any work the car may need. Find and join a local Delorean club, they will help and you can also go to any events that they hold.
