Tube length makes a difference so that where all the tubes are collected 
together you insured not to have exhaust pulses arrive at the same 
time.  Equal length tubes can do this.  Being that we have odd firing, 
the length can be adjusted for equal time between pulses arrived at the 
tube collection.
