I gues it's a matter of opinion. Together with its owner, I've converted the Island system on #2727 to a Renault 2.5 Turbo - and always teased him because it sounded like a tractor.... maybe that was just his mufflers. Either way, with the TT system, you have a very different requirement from the exhaust and as open asnd free as possible from the turbo back is a good thing. If you stand immediately behind the car, you can clearly hear the exhaust "pop" alternate from left to right, and it doesn't sound as smooth as a system that combines the two banks.
