Perhaps our wives are related. Mine wanted a D of her own, so we got
one for Valentines day last year. She spent out anniversary working
under the transmission. I have no complaints either...

I was faced with selling my DMC but opted to take a loan instead. My car
is
hocked but it's still mine-ish (I do need to pay back the loan,
apparently).
Secured loans get favorable rates and this is a sub- optimal sellers
market.
