Jack,
? What brand/type did you use exactly???? This week I used Duplicolor Trim Paint. It is almost too shiney as well, although I'm used to faded black trim. It isn't too shiney to re-do it though. I got it at autozone, along with their primer. 2 coats of primer and 4 very light coats of paint.
