Yes - in the original message. That's why I said what I did. It
doesn't sound like a big deal - just increase the size of the opening
some. I got the impression that what ever shock was on to start with
was working fine and without damage. Best check the travel then. The
shock is probably going "over center" (or more over-center) at the
end of the travel.
