Mmm... yeah maybe, but the guys who sell them all the time have a feel for  
what works best. They may not all agree on every item (think oil filters,) but  
they get the complaints and returns and phone calls if anything doesn't work  
out. So they know what's most likely the best choice. That's worth money.  If 
you have plenty of time and almost no money you might do fine for some items, 
 but personally, I want to drive my car, not just smile at it in my  driveway.
