Tom, Everyone I talk to and deal with say that the brass radiators are the best. Even the folks that make aluminum say it's the best but the problem is brass copper are too heavy for race cars and with enough fans aluminum will last thru the 1/4 mile and further on the high HP engines. I'm not saying it can't be used, but even our SS over flow tank for some weight conscience drivers say it's too heavy. As the engines have gotten smaller in the passenger cars enginering has adapted to and designed in aluminum radiators. As a vendor concerned about pricing I have done a lot of talking and investigation on aluminum radiator but as aluminum is going up almost just as bad I don't know what we would be saving and what we would have to give up in cooling to switch over. I am working on the aluminum Rad's to see what happens. Very large surface area... What do the people advertising brass radiators say about this? Anyone? I, myself prefer aluminum radiator anyway. It's lighter, cheaper and aluminum is actually better at transferring heat. Tom Niemczewski vin 6149 (in Poland!)
