David, thank you for your continued help! I've checked that all of the door switches have the rubber, I disconnected them as advised and so far the battery is still holding a 13V+ charge, so I'll keep the volt meter on it and let it sit for a few more days-hopefully it is just a faulty switch. As for the white smoke, I haven't overheated the engine yet and it isn't losing any coolant from the tank, nor are there any bubbles in the coolant that is why I am a bit hesitant to think it is a head gasket issue. The engine does stumble for about 3 seconds after it turns over with this smoke, could it be a fuel issue? Lastly, I'm about to go rip the door panels off the car and take a look at the door switches and solenoids, etc now that I know it isn't something somewhere else in the car keeping the light dimly lit. I appreciate your recommendation to replace the tires, mine aren't 7 years old but they are to the steel on the inside of the rear tires, so those will be replaced and I am sure the tires have flat spots now so may as well do them all. Thanks again for the help. -----Dani B. #5003 ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
