I may be wrong but to me it seems that the fire started at the spark
plug wire that leads to cilinder 4 (last one, near firewall, left
bank). This wire is damaged most, ollowed by the cable leading to the
other bank (which cilinder? I'm unable to check that).
I assume that's also the place where the rotor points to.
If you can strip the damaged parts after having taken out the
distributor, you possibly may find burn marks at the inside of the
distributor at that place.
