Last I checked, Water and antifreeze do not burn. Are you sure you don't have a fuel leak in that new carburetor?? --- On Tue, 6/17/08, Farrar Hudkins <fhudkins@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: From: Farrar Hudkins <fhudkins@xxxxxxxxx> Subject: [DML] Nice day for a car fire? You can guess what happened next. I pulled the car over and sprayed the fire out. (I carry a fire extinguisher with me in every vehicle I drive.) I called AAA for help, and the Gastonia fire department was there within five minutes. The poor guys showed up expecting a car fire -- somehow AAA missed the fact that I had put the fire out myself, though I'd mentioned it about three times. But that's another story for another day, I suppose. ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
