The unit is cute for the casual user who wants a battery operated gimmick to toss in the back of their DeLorean or at the house, however if you are considering doing a Time Machine conversion it is not very accurate in it's color and design. It actually is wired up backwards and fluxes in the wrong direction. If you are planning on a full conversion you can expect to pay twice as much for an accurate version. I do build these but I am not taking any orders for them at this time because I am already overwhelmed with orders for them. I thought that the DS version would slow my sales but instead it actually fueled them as so many people were disappointed with it. However with respect to Stephen and bttf.com I do recommend it for the casual user. It is affordable and great for any DeLorean owner who wants to be able to answer that constant request for "Where's the Flux Capacitor?" You could invest some time into it and paint it, add a few parts and make some changes and it would be fine. Many people have made versions out of all sorts of materials and designs before and it hasn't made a difference. Oliver's is made of red neon and everyone loves his!!!! - VB To: dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx: craigstecker@xxxxxxxxxxxxx: Wed, 4 Jun 2008 19:50:30 -0700Subject: Re: [DML] Flux Capacitor Replica at Think Geek I have one of these units it is made by Diamond Select Toys and also sold by bttf.com.If you want any info.on it let me know.----- Original Message ----From: Louis EricksonSubject: [DML] Flux Capacitor Replica at Think GeekSurprised not to have seen this here yet, but Think Geek has a Flux Capacitor Replica for sale.
