It should be fine. Remember the oil base is many thousands of years old and
the fact that it?s in sealed containers protects the additive package as
well. No worries!

Subject: [DML] Shelf life of Motor Oil?

 

I bought a case of motor oil about 5 years ago, and did an oil change on my
car (one and only time I did it myself). I still have 5 quarts of oil
left. Is it still good? With the price of oil going up, I think I should
put it to better use then just sitting around by doing another oil change on
my car.
