Now that a few of us "lurkers" have come out of the woodwork to voice our opinions on
the state of the DML I feel we're now being lumped together as Bill Robertson
sympathizers. No offense to Bill...
Please don't take my comments as siding with Bill, or anyone else, for that matter. Perhaps
I should have never mentioned DCS in my post, since it is THE event that I really was
looking forward to attending. I've known about, and looked forward to, DCS for many
more years than I have owned my car. I apologize to Ken if I sounded like I was
downplaying the importance of such a gathering, but you have to step back and look at
the real tone your posts on this forum lately. People wanting to unsubscribe is not some
Robertsonian uprising, I can assure you of that. They see what I see.
No, I have none of the judging problems that Bill has complained about. I have 905
documented miles on the clock and just spent a mint to make certain everything is 100%. I
don't even want to drive it for fear of rain getting the undercarriage dirty, and I would
never want to park anywhere but inside!
In short, I'm no stranger on DMCTalk.com, with a couple of hundred posts, but "lurking"
here as even a casual observer can scare some folks away. Perhaps you can't see through
the cloud many of you have been standing in because you're so close to the "fun", but
from where I'm standing, IMHO, it looks like you all need a little group hug.
Still lurking,
Rob Moorhead
