[DML] Re: LED turn signals - giving up!

No offense but I think there is sometimes an over zealousness to jump on the LED 
bandwagon.  They don't work well in all applications as your post suggests.  I think they 
work well on the doors and in the a/c bezel but for other things they are a pain in the butt.

The lighter load of LED's causes all sorts of problems .....I would stick with "old fashioned" 
bulbs.

Sometimes newer technology is not worth the trouble it causes.  Sometimes new products 
that are deemed "better" end up not performing as you wish.  The LED's for the engine 
compartment are a waste as it's not a widespread light and it's too dull.  Same with the 
interior lights...too directional and not warm enough color to it's spectrum.

Just my opinion of course.  Switch back to bulbs and save yourself the aggravation and 
cost.  I don't really see the need to go LED on turn signals as they are not real power 
draws or something that you leave on at car shows etc...stick with proven stuff IMHO
