So now I am curious. The shop I use for my other car is a NAPA place right around the corner. They've done a shedload of R-12 conversions over the years. Since the DeLorean's a/c system is basically a GM system, do you think they could be trusted with a conversion to R-134a, or should I risk doing it myself? I don't know anything about compressors and I am afraid I would damage something -- and that's an expensive part to replace..! Please express your opinions ... gently. ;-) Farrar Hudkins #2613 (auto -- with stock springs installed Friday!) ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
