[DML] New Gas Blends and older cars

Just wanted to post some information regarding the new gas blends. I'm
in the gas business, and have seen many older cars having significant
problems with the new blends of fuel.
Many distributors in the south are now selling gasoline with a 10%
splash of ethanol. The sludge buildup in the gas tanks of most old
cars gets eaten up by the ethanol, and jams up fuel filters and creates
major havoc in the fuel system.
The problem in North Carolina is that the Dept of Agriculture is not
making retailers disclose that the product may contain up to 10%
ethanol, and a consumer that may want 100% petroleum may get hosed,
literally.
Just thought everyone ought to pay attention to their fuels.
