Hi First of all early registration ends ON MAY 1 so if you want a free T get online and order. This comes up all the time on how expensive the show is. Fact. This show especially if you take in the inflations since 2000 costs LESS than Memphis Did and with inflation is cheaper than all but Pigeon Forge. rooms in 2000 were $99 and adjust for inflation $119 at a resort 8 years later give me a break :-) Fact. The reason this year the registration CAN get costly we have included options so you don't have to pay at the show like for not one but two pictures, the VIN Plate which I hope you ALL get now I got hammered after the last show because you decided to get them after you saw them there. And last but not least we added the Raffle car option and its doing great. So you have convenience and the option to pay it all off before you go to the show so you have more money at the show to buy Raffle tickets. PS the Raffle will offer a $500 minimum grand prize . Its not a split the pot but the pot will go up as you buy more tickets. Tickets will be sold all three days for the raffle on Saturday. This will speed up the evenings. Fact. The guest list at this show is unbelievable. I published it earlier NO OTHER SHOW YOU WILL GO TO FOR A CAR WILL HAVE THE GUESTS WE DO PERIOD. Fact. The food costs have been held to give you the best pricing. Fact. This is 3rd on the list of cost vs the other shows not including inflation. Fact. This is the least expensive of all the DeLorean shows out there not to say they are too costly but we have the volume to deliver the best value. Fact. If you don't register you cannot go. I have worked this out to be the least expensive for you and the easiest to run for me. Fact. If you don't have a room GOOD LUCK. Come and have a great time this is a show you do NOT WANT TO MISS and the next show will be our Classiest show ever we promise but you have to be there to find out. Check out our new store and products more to come. Ken In a message dated 04/05/08 12:17:51 Eastern Daylight Time, TTait@xxxxxxxxxx writes: Two years? Um. . . I believe the hotel is only available to DCS 2008 attendees. And call me crazy,(I am), but if you're going to be there, you should pay for being there. I thought it was obvious, but in very simple terms: 1. There are expenses involved in producing an event. 2. The registration fee helps cover these expenses. Whether looking at it financially, -or simple good manners: You don't show up to a party, eat the cake, meet the celebrity guests, enjoy the benefits, etc. -and NOT bring a gift for the host! Oliver (registered last week) ps: It was a chunk of money and I'm not rich, but I figure in two years I've been able to save up enough pennies to attend again. I'm worth it, and DCS is worth it.
