Congratulations Bradley-
Just one suggestion- I don't know what shape your new ride is in, or how  far 
you're driving it, but it's about 25 years old, so be careful. If you hear  
any strange noises, or have any unusual transmission performance, (especially 
on  an automatic,) or smell a burning electrical smell, pull over and park it 
until  you can contact a DeLorean vendor and ask what they suggest. Even if the 
 previous owner assures you it's perfect, even if it has low miles, (most  
DeLoreans do,) don't press your luck. You don't know your car yet, you or your  
mechanic haven't gone over all the systems yet I'm assuming, and you could do  
damage if you decide to press your luck based on adrenaline and optimism. 
True  of any 25 year old car- don't let me put you off. 
There are many terrific DeLorean owners who'd be glad to help in the  Chicago 
area, and Dave Swingle at DMC Midwest knows his stuff.
