On the turn signal socket there are 3 wires connected to it. There is a green which I assume is the negative/ground and a red wire which is the positive for the parking light. Both of these are sodered to the inside of the socket. There is also a black wire which is the positive for the turn signal. And there is my problem. The black wire isn't sodered to the inside of the socket...it is affixed using one of those tiny slip on plug things. The end of the wire is a flat metal male end and on the socket is a female receving end it plugs into. Well, mine got corroded and the male and female ends rusted together and broke completely off the socket. How can I fix this? There is no longer any nub sticking out of the socket. Can I just buy a new socket somewhere? ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
