RE: [DML] Gettysberg Video

Ken, I too now shoot in all HD.
I thought about that if I did shoot I could do it in all HD and offer it on BluRay to those who wanted it,
the problem is that the BluRay blanks are over $10 each and I doubt people would want to spend
the extra money it would take to make them!
However the video would look good for history's sake.
It is hard to enjoy yourself at the show when you are having to run around and tape everything
while also running a vendor booth, getting dunked in a tank of freezing water and then dealing
with trouble makers... this year I think it would be nice to just kick back with my wife and
maybe enjoy the history of the area.
I'm glad someone else wants to video tape the event.
I would much rather shell out a few bucks for a DVD instead of having to deal with doing it myself!!!

I am editing like crazy and have been knocking stuff out as fast as I can.
I just bought a new $8000 computer system and it is pretty zippy and I am working it to death!
Hopefully my video will be finished and shipping very soon!
See ya at the show Ken!

Just to throw in my 2 cents in here. The videos I've done (of every one of Ken K's shows) were to show to my local club and to make videos as memories of the event specifically for Ken K. I never marketed them. I have always been willing to trade for copies of other's videos, but never had any takers. I recorded the Chicago show in HD using commercial video equipment, the highlights of which I downscaled and sent to VideoBob to include in his video of the event. I'm not sure I'll have the time in Gettysberg to do any video because I plan to follow Ken's every step and make notes in preparation for DCS West in 2009!Ken (M)========================================================Ken Montgomery, Sacramento CA - VIN #10911 'OUTTIME' & VIN 05794http://www.time-traveler.org/delorean/mailto:kenm@xxxxxxxxxxxx promoter for DCS West: http://www.deloreancarshow.com/dcswest/President, Northern California DeLorean Motor Clubhttp://www.ncdmc.orgKeeper of the International DeLorean Owners Directoryhttp://www.dmcnews.com mailto:directory@xxxxxxxxxxx========================================================P.S: My web guru says he'll soon have the code written for the new database I'm going to use to run the DeLorean Owners Directory. I'm close! Really!!
