It is probably the power steering pump belt. No, Seriously, a belt
noise should have nothing to do with the brakes. You can spray some
water on the belts and see if the noise goes away. Typical causes for
squeaky belts:
Loose belt
Wrong belt
Worn belt
Bad idler bearings
Leaking water pump causing the water pump bearing to squeak
