After I posted my initally, James Espey of DMCH immediately came to
the rescue. Obviously he still monitors the list.
James deduced from the symtoms that it was the new controller module
that takes the juice from the lights and diredcts it around and not
through the switch. He said they had one other bad module.
He sent me a new one over night delivery. I rechecked my wiring,
plugged in both ends, reconnected the battery and it worked perfectly!
Thanks James and DMCH for such great customer service.
