There is no test procedure I know of that requires adjusting the
mixture screw EXCEPT setting the fuel mixture to get the Lambda system
set. If the mixture was set and the engine ran fine on that setting
then you should not disturb it. Fix what's wrong, you WILL NOT fix the
car by twiddling the mixture screw. (That is unless you already
fiddled with it and now it is not set correctly!!!!). I say if you
can't start the car 3-4 hours after stopping it try the plug swap and
see what happens. That will tell us a lot.
