Finaly someone that agrees it is not a rest pressure problem. Here is what happens. I go home for lunch and if it's a nice day I return to work in my D. I get back to work at 12:30. I leave at 4:00. If it is above 90 F outside the car will need about 60 seconds of trying to start.....finaly starts and takes 30 seconds to run good. Will do it every 90+ deg day. So I think I need more rest pressure time....I go out and give the car a prime (just turn the key to on) at around 2:00. Go out at 4:00 and it starts right up just like it would if cold. Done this many times and it always will fix the problem. So....I ask what the rest pressure time should be.....I still don't have an anwser. I buy new injectors....same....new fuel pump....same...rebuilt WUR....same....I had already replaced my bad accumulator (that only held pressure for 10 min) and replaced the o- rings three times. Now you know where I'm comming from.....These symtoms sure do point to a rest pressure problem. Yes it could be some fluke in the electrical system but why would the prime fix it. --- In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "content22207" <brobertson@...> wrote: > > Your message to John Hervey indicates you do NOT have a resting > pressure problem (it also indicates you have spent a lot of money > chasing what could be a fuel delivery phantom). > > See David's Message #74232.
