Carburetor (with electric choke mechanism, thank you very much): $160
Aluminum block for adapter: $13
Air filter & housing (chrome -- woo hoo): $25
Various studs, bolts & nuts: $7
Throttle cable (for end to attach to carb): $25
Extra return spring: $1

$286 before the intake manifold.

My intake manifold came on a crate engine: $500 for the complete
package. An online parts search just quoted $300 for an Eagle Premier
intake. A junkyard B280, if it's still there (I'll check later this
month), should be at most half that ($100-$150).
