Quite simply, I became tired of it. I've driven older sports cars my
entire life and it was time for a change. I wanted something new that
just worked every time and didn't need much, if any, maintenance.
After I bought my new car, I held onto the DeLorean for a few months
but I wasn't driving it that often and I wanted the space in my
garage. There was additionally a personal reason behind the sale.

I may buy another one some day, but if I do it will probably be a DMCH
refurb so it's "new". I enjoyed the car very much but I'm getting to
the point in my life where I don't want to spend my time fixing cars
anymore.
