It's NOT the CIS that is the problem it's the very poorly engineered 
wiring and HOW it was setup that is Delorean exclusive that screws up 
everything,Have you noticed how it purposely is  different from a 
volvos very reliable setup,I used to own a mid 1970's Mercedes 450 SL 
with basically the same system that Never gave me a problem,again it 
was just poorly wired up ie:engineered into the Delorean,If you were 
to put that same setup/engine in a Volvo for example(using the volvo 
wiring)guarenteed  you will get 300K miles without any problems.
