Once my car is good and warmed up, the idle does not vary by more than a couple RPM (you can barely tell the needle is moving, it's more your ears that tell you it is not EFI). But I have also spent many hours and $$$ on adjusting everything just right. I also have DMCH's performance exhaust, but even when I was stock, it did not vary much either once I had everything figured out. In my opinion, a lot of DeLoreans were probably not set up perfectly at the factory, or 25 years later many are out of tune, even after new plugs, wires, etc. It is possible to have lambda and a very smooth engine if you have it tweaked just right. Not many people go to those lengths however, since the K-Jet is actually quite forgiving and 'self-tuning' to an extent. Andy In a message dated 12/15/2007 9:31:59 P.M.
