I've searched the 'Net but can not find the name of the factory rep who spoke at Pigeon Forge. Anybody remember who it was? The fellow spoke eloquently about craziness at production startup. To be expected, but everything *WAS* far from smooth sailing in Dunmurry. Someone had forgotten to design a steering wheel, pedal cluster, and the entire rear interior as I recall. Makes it all the more remarkable that our little silver cars came out as well as they did. A fascinating contrast is the Bricklin. Bricklins look and feel like garage built kit cars. DeLoreans look and feel like true production automobiles.
