 I used to help a friend of mine occ. in his business of restoring & building old gas pumps, in Broken Arrow.  A trick Doug used: spray the area with Windex, apply decal, position properly, credit-card squeegee out the bubbles, wipe dry with clean cloth.  Perfect every time!     Just a tip.
