Look in Hemmings Motor News. There are services that can get you a
title. If you want to work on it yourself see if there is anything on
the car that would indicate the car's last State of registration. An
inspection sticker, and old plate, whatever. As honest as this story
may appear be careful. Without a title you CANNOT  drive the car on
public roads.
