RE: [DML] Re: New DeLorean or "Real" One

Interesting concept. Try this one: When Glenn Pray bought Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Co. in 1960, he moved it to Broken Arrow, Okla. (about 12 mi. from my domicile). He made Cords in the '60's, and Auburns in the '70's. The latter are known as "Glenn Pray Auburns" from the "Factory", to distinguish them from the "other" Auburns that are just "made" & sold. He used many original parts, but Ford supplied the drive-train, & you could have A/C, fancy stereo, & Automatic trans. if you desired. So, would THEY be any less an "Auburn" because they were not built in the original year of 1935, or in the "original" factory in Auburn, Indiana? Mr. Pray thinks not. "Glenn Pray Auburns" are considered a "real" Auburn Speedster by those who know. I have a hunch Steven Wynn would agree with Mr. Pray. Drive Stainless Robert VIN 6924
