Glad you got the joke (you seem to be the only one). The Sol Shenk -> DMCH odessy does bring up a good point: For a car that only had a three month real production run (Oct-Dec 1981), the DeLorean has one helluva history that did not stop with bankruptcy. Not only the DMCH lineage, but there are numerous adjunct companies (Grady/Hervy/et al) that grafted themselves onto the family tree. Now, if Bryan Pearce is supplying frames to DMCH for their new production (I assume he is), you have major cross pollination. The Dunmurry enterprise may not have turned out as JZD wanted, but his car certainly was no "flash in the pan."
