Hello. It may not be the bulbs. Lightbulbs can be significantly upgraded indirectly, without even dealing with the bulbs, by improving the connections, making sure the wiring is heavy guage, and clean, not-oxidized. It only takes a little extraneous resistance in the wiring to make the lights dimmer. I recently went through a similar problem with my front directionals. Bypassed the wiring, and some problem connectors, added dielectric grease liberally. Now they work much better, and are brighter.
