I may be wrong, but I believe these are also neodymium magnets. At
least that's what Wikipedia claims.

sells magnets and also lists how many pounds of force the magnet
exerts, presumably when in contact with metal. I think the ones I
have are in the range of 9 pounds. They have 1" x 2" cylinders that
exert 175 pounds. Might be a little overkill. :)
