[DML] Re: AC mode switch

Just to keep you up to date: I was right about the #4 and #5 tube
being switched at the AC switch by the PO, probably when he put in a
new radio. These tubes can easily be switched around, by the way. The
new radio did in fact make the job of reaching the switch easier.
Just removing the panel plate and the radio (it slid out) gave direct
access to the switch. I took it out and took it apart and cleaned it.
It proved that the center plug did not function in holding the switch
together anymore, so I just glued a piece of plastic in between the
two prongs and solved that too. It took care of some hissing noise.
Now it all works like a real AC!
