I started out learning to drive in rear-wheeled, stick-shift cars so
I'm not a newbie. Rear engines and a light front end are new,
however. Realize that one school function for my kids got me stuck
with a 1/4" of snow/slush in my FWD Avalon due to the steepness of
the hills. And to make matters worse, an old, rusty rear-wheel drive
Volare puttered up the same hill just fine. Quite frankly, I can't
afford a car that has to be parked in the rain; I intend to drive it.
