[DML] Fan Speed and AC Problems

I'm posting this for a friend. The fan speed on the AC only works on 
speed number 4. Speeds 1-3 do not work. He cleaned all the contacts at 
the resistor but this had no effect. Could this be a problem with the 
speed switch on the AC panel?

Also, when he runs his AC, hot air blows out at the feet. Is this a 
mode switch problem?
