RE: [DML] Body Care

Wash or windex the entire car, then try Stainless Steel Magic, often
available at Home Depot or Lowes. It gives the stainless a nice luster.

For your brake light, push the release button on the brake handle in and
get the handle ALL the way down. If that doesn't do it, open the front
trunk and remove the large rubber plug over the master brake cylinder.
Clean the reservoir and cap first, then unscrew the cap while keeping
the plug/wires from turning. If your fluid level is very low you need
to read up on bleeding the brakes. If the reservoir is at least half
full you can carefully top it off with Castrol GT LMA brake fluid (see
near the bottom of the brakes page at specialtauto.com ). Buy the big
bottle, you use it in your clutch too if you have a 5-speed. Don't
allow dirt to get in the reservoir.

If its not as simple as one of these, come back and we'll all work
through it.

Subject: [DML] Body Care

Just bought my 1982 DeLorean with delivery last week. What is the
correct care for the stainless body? Also dash brake light stays on
after release of parking brake, simple fix?

Thanks.

Ed
