The S/S requires very little care. You can wash it once in a while with mild detergent and you can spot-clean with Windex or something similar for fingerprints. NEVER use Brillo or any steel wool pads. Don't wax it. You can wax the front and rear facias. As for the brake light, it will light for either of 2 reasons. Low brake fluid or if the E brake is not completly off. Hold the release button on the end in and make sure the handle is ALL THE WAY down (push on it). If the light is still on check the fluid level (check it anyway). If the fluid level is good and the handle is all the way down then the circuit will have to be checked. DMCH sells a kit for caring for the car. I would at least get the S/S spray and a blending pad.
