Well, after being stored for the winter & spring, it's time to get my D on the road for another sumer, before I sell it in the fall or next spring. A little careful prepping, oil change and she started up right away and drives wonderfully... making it's case for me to hang on to it a while longer... ;-) Anyhow, I noticed that both windows were inoperable, and after a light rap on the interior door panel, the passenger window came back to life & works fine now. The driver's side does not move. I hear a faint "clicking" coming from inside the door when I press the switch, but no window operation. Swapped the switches, same thing. Checked the fuses, all OK. Any tips would be most welcome. My main question is, though: how do I remove the interior door trim/panel with the window up? I have successfully removed it to upgrade the lock solenoids, following the instructions I've read from the list here about popping the fir-tree connectors when the window is down, etc. But how can I safely remove the panel when the widow is up? Car I get a screwdriver or something in there to pry it up? Of course, I don't want break anything if I force something that should not be forced. Any BTDT & tips are very much appreciated in advance...
