Here is one last important thing to check:

My car was leaking too, and I tried to clean the hose without any luck.
When I finally looked, it turned out that the hose was not properly situated
on the evaporator drain inside the car from prior work on my car that
someone was not careful about putting it back together.  It was crimped down
and was leaking.  I wrestled it back into place and fixed the issue
