[DML] Re: Radiator Story

Thanks Dave for your input, I will always respect what you have to say!
Your point regarding leak fix could be right on. I say this goo and I
find it hard to believe it condensed from the coolant.

Regarding the water pump issue. Before all this happened I did replace
my water pump, belts, otterstat, the pipe that holds the otterstat,
coolant bottle, head gasket and other seals. Like I said, this car was
in sorry shape when I picked it up. When the new water pump was
installed we pressure tested it to 30 PSI for 15 minutes. No issue so I
know going into this boil over I had a tight collant system.

Because of the overheat I did replace the thermostat as well as the
radiator, and over the winter I will replace the head gasket.
